General  Anaesthetic

There may be times when young children or toddlers may be very frightened of the dentist. At TinySmile Dentistry we understand this, and make every effort we can to be as conservative as possible in our treatment approach. But there are times, when general anaesthesia may be recommended.

Under general anaesthesia, your child will be completely asleep and pain free..

We only work with specialist anaesthetists who specialize in providing anaesthesia safely for children.

 

If general anaesthesia is the route we do take, rest assured all necessary treatment is completed in that one visit.

The procedure usually takes place in a specifically equipped theatre. At TinySmile Dentistry we make use Day Clinic Facilities in Pretoria East.
