Dental Examination

During a dental examination we will evaluate your child’s current dental status, go over any areas of concern, and provide proposed treatment options if needed. 

 

The care we provide is consistent with the most advanced research and treatment standards of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).

 

Factor that will be considered during the dental exam:

1. Evaluation of the teeth as well as soft tissues of the mouth

2. Development of the mouth and jaws

3. Oral hygiene evaluation and recommendations

4. Dietary evaluation and guidance on improvement if necessary.

 

Depending on the age of your child dental x-rays may be taken to aid in evaluation and diagnosis.

This is also an opportunity for you to ask for advice regarding diet, brushing, habits and anything else you can think of.
